A super soft merino wool beanie with a contrasting cotton inner band. Knit by hand on a vintage Japanese knitting machine. The brim is double thick to keep your ears warm. Includes a whimsical pompom that is removable and interchangeable using an innovative shoelace-style attachment. The hat is durably knit to be your new go-to accessory for years to come. You can make it last by hand washing it with wool soap and laying it flat to dry. Spritzing it with a little steam after it dries will bring the stitches and pom back to life and reduce any over-stretching, even after a lot of wear.
This hat is made using sustainably sourced materials including 100% Merino wool for warmth and Pima cotton / Modal (made from birch pulp) on the inside of the brim to avoid itchy-ness. The materials used are compostable, so when you are done with it, it will bio-degrate! Just make sure to bring it to a textile recycling facility or ask your local commercial composter about textiles. You can also send it back and we will recycle it!
