Adda Coffee and Tea supports local music and charities through online series
Aching to see a show after months of being home every Saturday night? So are we. That’s why Adda Coffee and Tea launched our Sunday Showcase Series to bring live, local music to you every Sunday. This live streamed event showcases the incredible local music talent in the Pittsburgh community. Each event also offers viewers the opportunity to donate to a charity of the musician’s choice. Past donations have gone to the Sewickley Valley YMCA and its supporting programs, SisTers PGH, the Homewood Children’s Village, Ronald McDonald House, Animal Welfare Institute and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
This week, we’ll be bringing you the twangy, crooning vocals of Jon Bindley of Bindley Hardware Co. Bindley Hardware Co. focuses on the sounds of the Appalachian region, using instruments like the dobro and inspiration from old ballads to make what they call “Rustbelt Americana.” Bindley, the band’s lead singer, is a native of Pittsburgh, who returned after living in Nashville with a fresh appreciation for his roots. Donations will be made to the Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.
Our July schedule is already packed with talent. Tune for upcoming performances from Bilal Abbey, Avigayil Diamond, David Rosario of Stone Throwers and Roger Romero of Feralcat. Follow us on Instagram for updates!
